AdvanStation-210
Introduction
AdvanStation-210 is an encoding station for paper and hard RFID UHF tags.
Advanstation-210 can also kill tags that have been encoded by error and need to be discarded, to prevent them from being read by the inventory management systems.
Some of the benefits are the following:
Fast and effective encoding
Easy to use, through a touch screen
Can kill tags
Can print tags
Compatible with hard tags and paper tags
Actionable data
Getting Started
How to connect it
The touch screen of the AdvanStation-210 is an Android system. It has to be connected by Ethernet.
Once the device is powered up and connected to the network, the sCloud will be executed and it will show the CODE. This is the code that has to be copied into the AdvanCloud creating device process. Visit this link to know more about this step.

How it works
Encoding only with AdvanStation-210
The user places an RFID tagged item over AdvanStation-210 so that the RFID tag is over or near the magnet.
The label with the barcode printed on is automatically encoded.
The EPC code of the RFID tag is automatically encoded.
The user can see in the screen the information of the product that has been encoded.
Encoding with AdvanStation-200 and RFID printer
The user scans the barcode with the barcode scanner.
AdvanStation retrieves the information of the scanned item from AdvanCloud.
AdvanStation sends this information to the RFID printer.
The RFID tag is printed and encoded.
The user can see in the screen the information of the product that has been encoded.
Connection to AdvanCloud
The content and user interface of AdvanStation-200 can be updated remotely very easily, by means of the AdvanCloud cloud-based software.
All the events are registered and stored in AdvanCloud. This information can then be analyzed for Businness Intelligence purposes:
Number of products that have been encoded.
How many days prior to expiration have the products been encoded.
Where were the products encoded.
Stock levels.
Etc.
How to configure it
The sCloud application is shipped with the proper configuration ready to be used. If a configuration parameter needs to be changed, it can be done by clicking on the return key for 3 seconds. This operation will show you a menu so the button Configuration will be available. Also, by clicking Reload option, it is possible to re-connect sCloud.
After clicking Configuration, it will be possible to change some parameters, for example the host needed to connect and the screen orientation. Also, it will be possible to see the CODE needed to activate the AdvanStation-200 in AdvanCloud.
If everthing is ok and running properly, this screen will be displayed:

The functionalities for AdvanStation-200 are shown as follows:
Continuous encode
In order to start, the OFF button has to be switched ON (bottom of the screen), which keeps both the barcode reader and the RFID reader of the device ON all the time.
Continuous encode allows to encode a tag according to a barcode. The barcode that is wanted to be writeen has to be read and then the tag has to be approached to the reader. Also, the order of the operation can be inverted.
When the tag has been correctly encoded, a message will appear on screen. Then the user can continue encoding.
If the barcode is not read or the reader does not detect the tag in time, this error will be shown:
Transform tag
In order to start, the OFF button has to be switched ON (bottom of the screen), which keeps both the barcode reader and the RFID reader of the device ON all the time.
Transform tag allows to change an EPC in a low level (bit) by defining in AdvanCloud the mask length. The RFID tag has to be read by the reader and it will be changed.
Verify Encoding
In order to start, the OFF button has to be switched ON (bottom of the screen), which keeps both the barcode reader and the RFID reader of the device ON all the time.
Verify Encoding allows to check if an RFID tag was correctly encoded with all barcode specific information. This functionality can also check if the RFID tag is alarmed with the option Check if alarmed. A message will appear on the screen indicating if the EPC code of the RFID tag corresponds or not to that barcode, and also in case Check if alarmed option is ON, it will tell about that.
If the barcode does not match with the RFID tag or the RFID tag does not match with the barcode, the following screen will be displayed:
Verify Tag
In order to start, the OFF button has to be switched ON (bottom of the screen), which keeps both the barcode reader and the RFID reader of the device ON all the time.
Verify Tag allows to check the product information from a RFID tag by approaching it to the reader. As the same than Verify Encoding, Verify Tag has to option of Check if alarmed.
Kill
In order to start, the OFF button has to be switched ON (bottom of the screen), which keeps both the barcode reader and the RFID reader of the device ON all the time.
Kill allows to deactivate a RFID tag forever. The RFID tag has to be approached to the reader in order to kill it.
If the password for killing is not set in AdvanCloud, this message will be displayed:
