Change device IP

Introduction

Devices with AdvanNet can be configured with a static IP.

First access to your device. If you need help, please visit Discover devices.

Change IP

In order to change the IP of a device follow the next steps.

Open AdvanNet, go to Network and Time tab, by default DHCP is defined

Change to Static and define the:

• IP address

• Network mask

• Gateway

• DNS servers (optional): if not defined the reader won't be able to resolve domain names

• NTP Servers (optional): if not defined the reader won't be able to use synchronise date/time with Internet servers

Click on Save button. A notification will appear at the bottom left corner

After this, if you are not redirected automatically to the new IP address, please open it manually.

You should see your new IP.
