AdvanLook-100
Introduction
AdvanLook is an interactive display and product recommendation and cross-selling system.
AdvanLook uses RFID technology and a display to improve the shopping experience of customers at retail stores or libraries.
Customers see images of the products they have picked up, detailed information about these products and receive product recommendations.
The process is as follows:
The customer picks an item he or she finds interesting.
The customer approaches the product to AdvanLook, and the RFID subsystem of AdvanLook detects it.
The screen of AdvanLook shows images of the product, together with information like colours and sizes available, composition, price, etc. The customer also receives recommendations of matching products and accessories.
In the AdvanLook series with touch screen, the customer can browse through other products, request that an employee brings one product, etc.
Thanks to its simplicity and price, several units can be installed in one store.
The content and user interface of AdvanLook can be updated remotely very easily, by means of the AdvanCloud cloud-based software.

2. Connect the AdvanLook to the Internet and Power it Up
An Ethernet and Power connection can be found at the back of AdvanLook or at the base of AdvanStand-100 if used:
To be able to work, AdvanLook needs Internet connection as all the data displayed is downloaded from AdvanCloud in real-time.
3. Configure AdvanNet and AdvanCloud
RFID default configuration is set for best performance so it should not be necessary to change it, but the AdvanCloud configuration has to be set. Follow the next steps to configure AdvanCloud:
Connect the AdvanLook to a DHCP enabled network.
To be able to discover the AdvanLook IP address, use a PC in the same network as the computer. Please see the discover devices section: Discover-devices-section.
The previous step will result in the IP that is assigned to the device. Let's named it <AdvanLook-IP-address>.
Use a computer in the same network as the AdvanLook.
Open a Web Browser (Chrome or Firefox are required).
Go to the page: http://<AdvanLook-IP-address>:3161
Replace the <AdvanLook-IP-address> for the IP found in the discover devices.
Use the following credentials to enter:
User: keonn

Go to the System tab and select the AdvanCloudBusService on the drop-down list of the AdvanNet services and configure it as follows:
Ask to Keonn for the right values to configure the AdvanCloudBusService:
Ask Keonn support (support@keonn.com) the following parameter values:

To ID
When all the values are set correctly, set the parameter Enabled to true.
Apply the configuration by clicking in the "Apply service config" button:
1.Fill the values and click Apply service config
2. Save the system configuration
3.Clear the cache and reboot the system
4. Upload content and template
AdvanLook comes with default content and a default template as the following example shows:

AdvanLook templates are build in HTML5 language (HTML, CSS, and Javascript) and the client can develop its own template or it can be build by Keonn. Contact our support team for more information (support@keonn.com).
5. Test AdvanLook
Test that AdvanLook recognizes the Keonn RFID test tags, when approaching a tag, AdvanLook should display the item information, as it can be seen in the following video:
Discover Device
Configuration requires Ethernet access to the unit, as it uses a web application.
We need therefore to connect the AdvanLook unit to an Ethernet network and execute an IP discovery process. After the configuration process is finished, the Ethernet cable can be removed.
To be able to discover the AdvanLook IP address, use a PC in the same network as the computer.
Please see the discover devices for the 150/60 Series devices: series150/60-Discover-devices.
