Tag Focus is an advanced functionality developed initially by Impinj to increase the reader performance when the tag population is large, without the problems of S2/S3 operation.
When Tag Focus (Session S1 and Target A) is enabled, all inventoried tags will remain silent while the RF field stays on. After 1-2 seconds without RF field the tags will move back to target A and will be ready to respond again.
Tag Focus will only work with tags using RFID EPCGen2 chips with Tag Focus available.
