Device is in DHCP (with DHCP Server)

This functionality has been tested in windows 7 and windows 8.1

Using a PC utility like DHCP Server (tested with dhcpsrv2.4.4)

    1. Power on the device

    2. Configure your PC in a static range like 192.168.1.x

    3. Configure the DHCP server:

      • Run the file dhcpwiz.exe as an administrator.

      • Select the interface, it should have disabled the DHCP, and click next

      • In File Server Protocols, check HTTP

      • Configure the range of IP's that the computer will give

      • Write the INI file

      • Click in Finish.

Make sure the DHCP is disabled, and click Next

Write the INI file

  • Power off the device.

  • Start DHCP Server utility:

    • Run the file dhcpsrv.exe as an administrator.

    • In Firewall exceptions, click in Configure and click in "Continue as tray app" (do not install it):

  • Connect the reader and the computer trough the Ethernet cable.

  • Power on device.

  • The DHCP Server will flag the assigned IP to the device.
