User Management

In order to perform the changes documented in this page you need SSH access to the reader. If you don't know how please follow the instructions in this page

By default AdvanNet comes with 4 users but it can modified to fit your needs.

To start managing AdvanNet users first copy this chunk of text to the /home/keonn/kernel/module/app.AdvanNet/META-INF/connectors.xml file of your device:

You can modify this template to create, delete, change user passwords or change user privileges.

    • To create a user: add a <user></user> entry under the <users> tag with the same structure than the existing ones but with different values

    • To delete a user: delete the <user> entry under the <users> tag.

    • To change the password change the value of the <password> field.

    • To alter the user privileges modify the <profilesDef> field of the user, keep in mind that only the exiting profiles can be used.
